About Us
The Fukui International Human Resources Development Center for Atomic Energy (Fukui HRDC) was founded in April,2011 in Fukui, where there are 13 commercial nuclear power plants and the research facilities such as “Monju”, to contribute to the enhancement of nuclear safety technology and human resource development worldwide focusing on developing countries in Asia.
Fukui HRDC organizes training courses, workshops, seminars, and train trainers course for human resource development (HRD) of both developing countries and Japan. These programs are prepared in collaboration with nuclear power companies, research institutes , universities in Fukui .
About Fukui - Advanced region of atomic energy-
Fukui prefecture is located near the center of the Japan Sea Coast. In Fukui prefecture there are 13 nuclear power plants with various types of reactors, prototype fast breeder reactor, advanced simulator for training nuclear power operation, research center for radiation application and energy, and two universities teaching nuclear science and technology.
Accordingly Fukui HRDC has privileges to plan and implement training programs and workshops with the excellent support of experts of these organizations with full experience in different fields by using existing nuclear and training facilities.
